In the heart of the beautiful village of Winster, our 17th century cottage has recently been refurbished and extended to an extremely high standard.

The impressive galleried bedroom with exposed roof beams boasts a kingsize bed. This leads to the second bedroom with 2’ 6” bunk beds and lovely shower room/wc.

Outside to the rear there is a small yard.

The nearby garden with summer house, decking and barbeque has fabulous views over the village.

Parking for one car is usually available to the front of the cottage.

Weekly bookings are available from £190 with 2 to 5 night short breaks out of season and school holidays.

Gas and electricity are included together with quality bed linen and towels.

Please note that as a traditional seventeenth century cottage there are some low ceilings and doorways.

One well behaved pet by arrangement. We have a no smoking policy inside the cottage.

Winster is the perfect village with its Market House, lots of attractive 17th century houses and cottages cascading down the hillside into beautiful Wensley Dale.

Discover the secret places where sleepy cats doze on aubrietia clad walls. Of a morning wander down to the traditional village store which really does sell everything.

In the evening make sure that your last drink in the nearby Bowling Green or Miners Standard pubs is not a 'pint too far'.

Pull on your boots for the wonderful local walks such as the Limestone Way which skirts the village or jump in the car to see all of Derbyshire's attractions nearby. You may choose to time your visit to coincide with the many village festivities including the carnival, well dressings, secret gardens, and the nationally celebrated Winster Morris Dancers.
