Winster Wakes (Carnival)

Winster's annual carnival starts with an interdeominational service on the first Sunday on or after 24th June (St John the Baptist's Day) and runs to the following Saturday, which sees the closing of Main Street for Morris Dancing, stalls and other entertainment.
