Practices start Thursday 1 March 2007 promptly, please at 8.00 pm in the Burton Institute and weekly through March, April and May.  14 & 21 June - Wakes practices - 8.00 pm

Castle  Donington  Medieval  Fair, first spot 11.30 and then Bladon House School in Newton Solney  for  two  spots  1.00 pm and 2.00 pm and hopefully a nice pub on the way home.

Thursday 31 May

Practice to confirm team and details for forthcoming event on Sunday June 3. Please attend.

Sunday 24 June

Matlock Live Festival - 12.30 Dancing in Hall Leys Park, Matlock then back to Winster for the Crowning of the Carnival Queen 2.30 pm outside the Market House and followed by Church service to open wakes week.

Saturday 30 June

Wakes Saturday - guests - Italian Flag wavers, Sbandieratori e Musici from our twinned village of Monterubbiano plus Eynsham Morris from their village in Oxfordshire - rare guests due, most  years, to our two sides sharing the same weekend of celebrations on the first Saturday in July.

Sunday 15 July

Dance out around local venues with Durham University Rapper Team.

Possible timings and venues are: 12.00 at Monsal Head, 2.30 at Ashford-in-the-Water, 3.30 at Bakewell and 5.00 dancing in Winster to crown the day and help celebrate the 'Secret Gardens' event.

Weekend 20 - 23 July

We have accepted an invitation to join in the Onzain night market festival and fireworks in the village square. We will also dance in Rilly-sur-Loire a neighbouring village at the 'Stuffed tomato festival'.

Saturday 8 September

'Day of dance'

Traditional late season event with our guests, this year,  Uttoxeter Morris touring Derbyshire venues (12.00 at Sudbury, 1.00 at Ashbourne and 2.30 at Hartington Welldressings).

12 - 15 October 

Invitation as special guests with Cock and Magpie Morris of Chesterfield to dance with the Gudbjerg Folkedansere in  Odense in Denmark at their 25th anniversary celebrations

Saturday 17 November

1200hrs - 1500hrs

Dancing in Chesterfield with the Romanian group from Babadag who are twinned with Tansley. 

The group are visiting Matlock and area starting Sunday 11th November, through to Sunday 18th November.  They will be giving workshops in schools as well as performances in the area.
